Leeds play host to Darlo; Bantams meet Magpies

Leeds United's clash with Darlington is the pick of the ties in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Northern Section second round. The League One leaders will be expected to have little trouble in disposing of the Quakers, who currently prop up League Two with a paltry two points from their opening 11 games. Simon Grayson's side have already overcome the North East outfit once this season, triumphing 1-0 at the Darlington Arena in the first round of the Carling Cup. Big-spending Notts County make the trip to Valley Parade where Bradford will be out for revenge having been thrashed 5-0 by the Magpies at Meadow Lane on the opening weekend of the season.

Pressure

Struggling Tranmere travel to Bury with under-pressure manager John Barnes keen to recover from Saturday's 5-0 humbling at Millwall. Huddersfield's bright start to the season has faltered in recent weeks and Lee Clark will be eager for his side to get back to winning ways at Chesterfield. Hartlepool will have to avoid an upset when Grimsby travel to Victoria Park, while Carlisle play host to League Two side Macclesfield. Port Vale have home advantage for their showdown with Stockport, as Accrington tackle Shrewsbury in the final game of the round.
