Portuguese forward loving life at Real

Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his happiness with life at Real Madrid following his summer move from Manchester United. The Portuguese forward arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu for a world record transfer fee of £80million but he has not shown any signs of the expectation affecting his performances. Ronaldo admits he already feels completely settled, while he has struck up good relationships with his team-mates. "I am living a dream playing for Real Madrid," he told Portuguese television station SIC. "I am happy in Madrid because my adaptation to this city has been quick. I want to stay there for many years.

Fairytale

"At this moment it is like a fairytale. The dressing room l is like a big family. "Raul, Guti and Casillas have really helped me since my arrival. These people are fantastic and my friendship with the Brazilians is special because we speak the same language." Ronaldo has continued his prolific goalscoring form for Real and hopes to enjoy considerable success with the club before retiring. He added: "I always wanted the No.9 shirt at Real but initially I had doubts. "Those doubts no longer exist because I am scoring goals. "My dream is to stay with Real Madrid until the end of my career and to obtain more titles than at Manchester United."
