Yeovil sign Watford youngster on short-term contract
League One outfit Yeovil have signed Louis Lavers on a short-term deal from Watford.
The 19-year-old never played for the Hornets first-team but was a regular for their reserve and youth sides.
The defender went on trial with Grimsby at the start of the season but failed to win a full-time contract with the Mariners.
The left-back has signed a deal that will see him stay with the Glovers until January at the earliest.
Lavers will be looking to get his first taste of first-team football at Huish Park having just 20 Academy appearances to show for his efforts last term.
