Whites boss hoping to knock off Canaries

Simon Grayson is hoping Leeds return to winning ways at Elland Road when in-form Norwich City visit on Monday night. The Whites have made an unbeaten start to the new League One season, but back-to-back league draws have seen their form dip slightly. Leeds have not lost on home soil in the league since January and Grayson is keen to extend that impressive record against the Canaries. "You want to have really good home form because the majority of our fans are there every week and we're playing with a lot of confidence," he told Sky Sports News. "We want to turn Elland Road into an intimidating place to come and we've found that for the opposition at times. "Somewhere down the line it's going to end, but hopefully that's not for a long, long time." Leeds have been held at home recently by Charlton and Carlisle, but Grayson is not reading too much into dropping four points at Elland Road. The ex-Blackpool boss believes the international break came at the right time for Leeds and that he is hopeful his players are raring to go.

Evenly matched

"Ideally we'd have liked to have won both games, but when you look at the game against Charlton it was very evenly matched," he continued. "Two teams at the top of the table, so there wasn't much to give. I don't think either team would have wanted to lose that game. "Carlisle? It just happened. It didn't happen for us on the night really. We'd had a lot of games and looked a little bit tired, but have had that break in between. "We'll hopefully have a few players hopefully back for Monday night and the other players have had a chance to recharge their batteries and we go. "If we've only drawn two games and that's seen as a blip then I'd take that all season." Norwich started the season in dismal fashion, however, new manager Paul Lambert has guided the East Anglian outfit to four consecutive victories. Grayson is not surprised the Canaries have begun to soar and feels the Carrow Road outfit will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season. "Paul's come in and got Norwich back to where they should be. It will be a big test for us. "At the start of the season they were one of the favourites for the division and rightly so because they get fantastic crowds and have got some good players."
