Crewe have handed a trial to French goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu as they look to bolster their squad.
Keeper out to impress at Gresty Road
Crewe have handed a trial to French goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu.
Caretaker manager Dario Gradi believes the club need a keeper of their own after placing their faith in on-loan Tottenham youngster David Button so far this season.
Former Swindon stopper Peter Brezovan had a trial at Gresty Road last week and played in a reserve game against Aston Villa, but the Czech was released after failing to earn a contract.
Bossu has vast experience of the Football League having represented eight clubs. He was part of the Walsall squad that won promotion from League Two in 2007.
The 29-year-old is a free agent after being released by Aberdeen in the summer following just one appearance for the SPL club.
He is set to play in a trial match against Birmingham on Tuesday.
