League Two side snap up Doncaster striker on one-month loan
Shrewsbury have taken Doncaster striker Waide Fairhurst on an initial one-month loan.
The 21-year-old has managed to force his way into the first-team this season following a number of injuries to key strikers.
The youngster has repaid the faith shown in him by manager Sean O'Driscoll by scoring two goals in seven appearances, two of them starts.
However with the likes James Hayter, Paul Heffernan and James Coppinger all returning from spells on the sidelines and Billy Sharp arriving on loan, O'Driscoll has decided to let Fairhurst join the Shrews.
Fairhurst could extend his stay at Shrewsbury beyond the one-month period and will go straight into their squad for the game against Aldershot on Saturday.
