Crewe goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu has asked to leave just six days after signing a two-month contract.
Shot-stopper wished all the best by club
Crewe have been stunned by the news that goalkeeper Bertrand Bossu has asked to leave just six days after signing a two-month contract.
The news comes on the day that Alex caretaker boss Dario Gradi signed another shot-stopper - Bristol Rovers' Steve Phillips - on a two-month loan deal.
Bossu was on the bench for Saturday's 4-0 win at Cheltenham as cover for Adam Legzdins after Steve Collis was taken ill.
But the 29-year-old Frenchman has asked for his deal to be cancelled for personal reasons.
A brief statement from Crewe read: "The club has accepted his request and we wish Bertrand all the best in the future."
