Southampton have signed former England schoolboy international Aaron Martin from local non-league side Eastleigh. The 20-year-old centre-half impressed during a recent trial with Saints and has been handed an 18-month contract by manager Alan Pardew. "It's a massive step but I'm hoping I can prove myself, get into the first team and push on from there," Martin told Saints' official website. "It would be unbelievable to play at St Mary's and I can't wait for that to come."
