Austrian striker scores in practice match
Doncaster Rovers have handed a trial to Austrian international striker Roman Kienast as Sean O'Driscoll looks at options to boost his squad.
Kienast has latterly been playing in Norway with Ham-Kam, but has been offered the chance to earn a move to the Championship.
He played for Rovers in a practice match against Sheffield United earlier this week and staked his claim for a deal with a goal.
Rovers boss O'Driscoll told the
Doncaster Free Press: "We are just taking a look at him at the moment, but he did quite well on Tuesday and worked hard apart from scoring."
The 25-year-old has previously trained with Plymouth Argyle, while a trial at Norwich City last year was cut short by injury.
