Skipper confident of survival ahead of Ewood return

Portsmouth captain Aaron Mokoena is adamant the side are too good to go down this season. Pompey currently sit bottom of the table after a slow start to the season which saw them lose their opening seven Premier League games. Paul Hart's men have gone on to win two of their last four league outings, including a 4-0 thumping of Wigan last time out. Mokoena returns to former club Blackburn this weekend and the South African believes Portsmouth have turned a corner. "We are too good to go down," Mokoena told Sky Sports News. "You can see in all the games we have played, besides Arsenal, we had fantastic games and we created chances. "That luck is starting to show now and hopefully we can really keep this momentum going." Portsmouth could climb out of the bottom three with a win against Blackburn and Mokoena is expecting an exciting encounter at Ewood Park. "It is going to be an exciting game for me, exciting for the team and with the position we are at and the position Blackburn are in, it's going to be buzzing out there," added Mokoena.
