Brazil striker ready for challenge

Luis Fabiano believes England have improved under Fabio Capello but are still not as good as Brazil. Both sides will be among the favourites for World Cup glory next summer after impressive qualifying campaigns. Saturday's international friendly in Qatar will give an indication of their strengths and weaknesses but Fabiano can only see one winner. The Sevilla striker, set to lead the line for the Samba boys, does not feel England carry as much of an attacking threat. "Today Brazil are better than England. There are statistics, results and we have more experience to show that, without a doubt," he told the Daily Mirror.

Quality

"Our strength in depth makes us a great team. That is why we want to win this friendly, to show we are strong and ready for the World Cup. "People talk about England's attack and the strength of the Premier League, but our tactics and team create more chances than England. "A player like Kaka is unique. He has brilliant quality and fits into the organisation of our team." Fabiano credits Capello with turning England into a more resilient outfit, adding: "They are more European in their style and are not predictable. "That is a tribute to the coach but the players have adapted to the style. "They are more complete as a team."
Almost Brazilian
One England player Fabiano does rate highly is midfielder David Beckham, who will miss the match due to his commitments with LA Galaxy. "He is nearly a Brazilian with his style and his quality in his free-kicks and shots," praised Fabiano. "For me, Beckham is one of the best players in England's history and a great man within the game."
