Ivory Coast striker beginning to settle at Fratton Park
Portsmouth striker Aruna Dindane is confident team spirit within the camp can spark a winning streak for the club.
Pompey suffered defeat at the hands of Blackburn last weekend after stringing together two 4-0 wins over Stoke and Wigan respectively.
Paul Hart's outfit have won just twice in the Premier League this season but signs are growing that they are capable of lifting themselves off the foot of the table with a string of good showings.
Dindane, who scored a hat-trick in the home win over Wigan, limped out of the Ewood Park loss but is nonetheless included in the Ivory Coast squad to face Guinea.
The 28-year-old striker, on loan from Lens, has no qualms about making the long trip despite carrying a knock and is looking forward to returning to Fratton Park where he feels the whole squad are really starting to perform.
"It is always a great feeling to be back in the national team. I am very happy to be here," Dindane told
skysports.com.
"I am finding my feet at Portsmouth, they are a great community team. I think we are a good team, we will go on a run soon when we will be very difficult to beat.
"Players are finding their feet, the manager is always on our side helping - he is like a father figure to us at the club."
Stoke clash
Portsmouth's next Premier League encounter takes place at the Britannia Stadium as they travel to Stoke after the international break.
Boss Hart has a number of injury worries ahead of the fixture, which takes place on Sunday 22nd November, but he expects his top scorer to recover in time.
"Dindane is not so bad," Hart told Portsmouth's
official website. "He was quite sore and his hamstring was quite tight, but we think it was back-related. We know he is improving though."
Meanwhile, Hart also has concerns over midfielder Hassan Yebda, who has travelled with Algeria's squad to face Egypt despite sitting out last week's defeat to Rovers.
"Yebda picked up a calf strain and he will still be recovering from that," Hart added.
"I think Dindane has probably got a better chance of playing at Stoke than Yebda has. At least we will have Friday and Saturday of next week."
