Bolton boss to keep future problems under wraps
Gary Megson regrets lifting the lid on Bolton's dressing room unrest and has attempted to play down the ongoing problem.
The Reebok Stadium boss claimed after the derby defeat by Blackburn on Sunday that some disgruntled members of his squad were not helping morale.
And while the out-of-favour players' moods have not improved, Megson insists that managing unhappy individuals is purely part and parcel of Premier League life.
The Trotters have slipped into the Premier League drop zone ahead of Saturday's meeting with Fulham and Megson, who has seen his position come under increasing scrutiny, has vowed to be more circumspect in the future.
Hump
He said: "I made a mistake in highlighting the situation because while it is still there and still apparent, it is not a huge problem.
"Maybe I should not be as honest with you as I have been. You say these things then other people pick up on it and make a bigger deal out of what I was trying to say.
"I can understand people being unhappy if they are not in the team. When you have squad of 20-odd players and can only play 11, you are going to have the hump a little bit.
"If you take Chelsea, they may be top of the division but one or two will have a face on as they are not playing."
