Norwich City have signed Swindon Town winger Anthony McNamee on an emergency loan until January.
Canaries boss Paul Lambert has taken the chance to sign the ex-Watford player after being impressed during his time in charge of Wycombe and Colchester.
Skysports.com understands the move is with a view to a permanent deal, and Norwich are hopeful 25-year-old McNamee's pace will provide a useful weapon in their pursuit of League One promotion.
"I saw him play a few years ago when I was at Wycombe in a pre-season friendly against Watford," Lambert told his club's
official website when the deal was confirmed following Thursday evening's loan transfer deadline.

"He was on one wing and Ashley Young (now at Aston Villa) the other and I remembered him. I then saw him again when I was at Colchester and he was quick, and he hasn't lost that.
"So I'm glad we have got him in and he gives us another option."
McNamee said after joining Norwich: "You've got a very good team here, obviously you can tell that by the position you are in the league.
"Every time I've played against Norwich it's been a tough game anyway so I look forward to playing."
The winger will be unable to play in either the FA Cup or Johnstone's Paint Trophy for Norwich after already playing in both competitions for Swindon.
