Lincoln City have signed former Rangers youngster Brian Gilmour on a short-term contract.
New signing eligible to face Northwich in FA Cup
Lincoln City boss Chris Sutton has continued to improve his squad by signing former Rangers youngster Brian Gilmour on a short-term contract.
Gilmour had been available on a free transfer after leaving Finnish side FC Haka in the summer and he underwent a trial at Blackpool without earning a contract.
The 22-year-old, who can play in midfield or attack, has now secured a deal to link up with League Two strugglers Lincoln.
International clearance has been received for Gilmour, who could be in the Imps' squad for Saturday's FA Cup second-round tie at Northwich Victoria.
Gilmour is the third signing of the week for Sutton, who landed Chris Herd on loan from Aston Villa and Delroy Facey from Notts County.
