Defender linked with move to MIlan

Leonardo Bonucci's agent has insisted the Bari defender will not become distracted by transfer speculation. The 22-year-old centre-back has produced a number of impressive performances during the early part of the season for a Bari side that has the best defensive record in Serie A. However, his displays have not gone unnoticed and a number of top clubs including Arsenal are reportedly tracking his progress. Bari director of sport Giorgio Perinetti has confirmed that AC Milan are definitely interested, but Bonucci's representative Davide Torchia believes his client will handle all the transfer talk. "If Perinetti said so, I can't add anything to it," Torchia told Calciomercatonews.com with regards to the Milan link. "The lad is only focused on the rest of the season with Bari. "It is indeed true that he is in demand, I too have read about it in the press. "But I honestly think that much of this stuff is unfounded and he is only thinking about helping Bari retain their top flight status. "He must keep working hard, otherwise the castle will crumble down."
