Young goalkeeper staying until end of season
Leicester have handed young goalkeeper Carl Pentney a contract until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old is still to make a first-team appearance for the Walkers Stadium side and has spent spells on loan with York City, Ilkeston and Woking.
Foxes boss Nigel Pearson believes Pentney has an opportunity to make the grade and hopes he will prove his abilities in the coming months.
Pearson told the club's
official website: "We have extended Carl Pentney's contract to the end of the season.
"He has done very well and has the opportunity to develop as a player and to see where he takes it."
