Former Brazil full-back Roberto Carlos claims he has signed a two-year contract with Corinthians.

Roberto Carlos looks set to end his career back in Brazil after claiming he has signed a two-year contract with Corinthians. Having spent the past two years at Fenerbahce, the 36-year-old has decided the time is right to return to his homeland, where he will link up with another Brazilian legend - Ronaldo. The former Brazil international is aiming to add to his many trophies which include four La Liga titles, three UEFA Champions Leagues and a World Cup. "I'm anxious to get to Corinthians, pull the shirt onto my body, hear the crowd and to make history alongside Ronaldo," he told Radio Record. "I want to return to Brazil and win the Copa Libertadores with Corinthians to go down in history." Roberto Carlos' contract with the Turkish club expires this month and Corinthians are expected to unveil the former Inter Milan and Real Madrid full-back on 20th December.
