High-flying Forest out to ruin Rangers' week
Nottingham Forest will be looking to pull level with league leaders Newcastle when they face Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.
With the Magpies not in action until Wednesday, the Reds can haul themselves level at the summit with a further three points on home soil - while stretching their unbeaten run in the league to 19 games in the process.
Rangers have faltered somewhat of late, taking only one win from their last nine games, and know they must rediscover their form if they are to mount a promotion push.
Forest team news
Nottingham Forest will be without the services of on-loan defender Nicky Shorey in midweek.
The Aston Villa full-back, whose deal is set to expire before Saturday's trip to Pride Park to face East Midlands rivals Derby, must serve a one-match suspension following his red card against his former club Reading earlier this month.
His absence could see midfielder Chris Cohen revert to left-back, although Reds boss Billy Davies could also use Chris Gunter as cover with James Perch filling in for him at right-back.
Defender Julian Bennett remains the only injury absentee as he continues his rehabilitation from knee surgery.
QPR team news
Nigel Quashie, Matt Hill, Rowan Vine and Lee Cook could all be added to the QPR squad for the trip to the City Ground.
Quashie is in line to make his second Rangers debut, almost 12 years since he left the club to join Forest, after joining on a free transfer from West Ham last week.
He will be joined by defender Hill, who has arrived on loan from Wolves until the end of the season.
Striker Vine is fit to play after a recent stomach operation and winger Cook could figure for the first time this campaign after a long lay-off following knee surgery.
Veteran winger Gareth Ainsworth is still missing with a calf problem and midfielders Martin Rowlands and Gavin Mahon are long-term absentees with knee injuries.
