Mansouri delighted with Algeria coach

Algeria skipper Yazid Mansouri has heaped praise on coach Rabah Saadane as they prepare for their first World Cup since 1986. The Desert Foxes' mentor was at the helm of the national team at that tournament in Mexico 24 years ago when they were eliminated in the first round. The North African country face England, United States and Slovenia in Group C and although not many are giving them a chance of progressing to the knockout phases, Mansouri is confident that the man known as 'Sheikh' can help them achieve success at the global showpiece. "He knows very well African football," he told AP. "That's why we managed to qualify for the World Cup. He's a good tactician. "He's great for human relations. It's very important for a team to have a relationship with such a coach in order to progress. "We can feel that he trusts us and that's very important for the players."
