John O'Shea believes Dimitar Berbatov can fire Manchester United to the Premier League title.
O'Shea glad to be involved in United's march for the title
John O'Shea believes Dimitar Berbatov can fire Manchester United to the Premier League title.
The Bulgarian grabbed his third hat-trick of the term against Birmingham and matched the feat accomplished by Ruud van Nistelrooy in the 2002-03 season.
United's record signing now has 18 goals to his credit so far this season and is finally starting to justify his £30.75 million price tag.
And while his strike partner Wayne Rooney is struggling to find the net, the Irishman believes Berbatov can provide them with the spark.
Amazing
"Dimitar is an amazing talent," said O'Shea.
"We know if we get the supply line to him he will create things, either for himself and other players.
"Some of the passes he was laying off for Wayne and Nani were great. We just have to supply him because nine out of 10 times he will score."
O'Shea made an impressive return to action having been out of the team since the end of August with a calf problem.
Frustrating
And O'Shea admits being injured has been a frustrating time for him.
He added: "It has been a frustrating time. I thought it was only going to be a week to 10 days. But I pushed it a bit too soon did it again.
"I had to be more careful after that. It is frustrating when you are missing games but I am delighted to be back."
