Skysports.com's Team Teaser gives you the chance to help us fill in the missing blanks.
Welcome to skysports.com's Team Teaser. This is the game where you have the chance to help us fill in the missing blanks.
We provide you with a theme and you have to compile together a starting XI based on that theme. If you have an idea for a Team Teaser theme you would like running then drop me an e-mail at rachel.griffiths@bskyb.com with words 'team teaser' in the headline. Please e-mail with ideas only, not answers.
For example if the theme was 'cars' then an ideal winger would be 'David Bentley' and so on until the line-up is complete!
The theme this time is SNOOD WEARERS!, i.e. players who favour the neck-warming knitwear. As always, feel free to submit your ideas in the feedback box at the bottom of the page.
In goal this time we have Italy and Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, who was something of a pioneer in snood-wearing. Thanks Craig Jeff for the suggestion.
Snood-donning defenders are not easy to come by, but Ste Johnson suggested two, filling up our back-line with Jerome Boateng of Manchester City and Dani Alves of Barcelona.
It was Craig Jeff again that finished off our defence, suggesting AC Milan centre-back Alessandro Nesta, who has a fondness for the woolly neckwear.
There were midfielders aplenty that could have made the cut, but Arsenal man Samir Nasri was the most popular choice. Thanks Jamie Smart for nominating the scarf-wearing Frenchman.
Alongside Nasri in the middle of the park is Newcastle's Cheik Tiote, thanks Dave Chiles, and Manchester City man Yaya Toure, as put forward by Matt Gibson.
On the left flank Ste Johnson suggested Aston Villa winger Ashley Young, while on the opposite wing we have Liverpool's Maxi Rodriguez. Thanks Anoopam Putty for nominating the Argentinian.
In our frontline, by overwhelming demand, is Manchester City hitman Carlos Tevez. Cheers Barry Young for bringing him to our attention first.
And finally, completing our strike force, is Arsenal forward Marouane Chamakh, a keen ambassador for all things snood. Thanks Lewis Mansell for that one.
