Welcome to skysports.com's Team Teaser. This is the game where you have the chance to help us fill in the missing blanks.

We provide you with a theme and you have to compile together a starting XI based on that theme. For example if the theme was 'cars' then an ideal winger would be 'David Bentley' and so on until the line-up is complete!

The theme this time is HORROR TACKLES! i.e. Players who are guilty of committing brutal challenges. As always, feel free to submit your ideas in the feedback box at the bottom of the page.

There's no change between the sticks from last week, with former Germany goalkeeper Harald Schumacher retaining the gloves. The shot-stopper keeps his spot for his horror foul on defender Patrick Battiston, which knocked the Frenchman unconscious and saw him part with several teeth. Cheers Ryan Mcglinchey for that one.

Slotting into the backline by popular demand is ex-Birmingham man Martin Taylor, with Adam Lewis first bringing him to our attention. The defender's ghastly challenge on former Arsenal man Eduardo was one of the worst the Premier League has ever seen and splintered the Croatian's left leg.

In central defence we have Ryan Shawcross, who enraged Arsenal fans with his nasty tackle on Aaron Ramsey last February. The challenge left the youngster with a broken leg as well as ending his season. Thanks Leigh Michael for the suggestion.

Partnering Shawcross is former Huddersfield man Kevin Gray, who is notoriously remembered for his dangerous challenge on Bradford striker Gordon Watson. The tackle more or less ended Watson's career and led to a court case where he managed to claim nearly £1million in damages. Cheers Dave Milner for nominating him.

Completing our defensive line-up is Ben Thatcher, who let his elbow do the talking when he knocked Pedro Mendes unconscious in a clash between Manchester City and Portsmouth back in 2006. Thanks Andrew Fergus for that one.

Stepping into midfield is Roy Keane, who was renowned for his hard-tackling during his playing days. One challenge that particularly sticks in the mind was his assault on Alf Inge-Haaland, which was the climax of an ongoing feud between the two and ultimately ended the defender's career. It was Conor Sherlock that suggested the feisty Irishman.

Also in the middle of the park is Nigel de Jong, as nominated by Felix Donkor. The Dutchman prompted outrage when he ploughed his studs into the chest of Xabi Alonso during last year's World Cup final, but that challenge was only the warm-up to his foul on Newcastle man Hatem Ben Arfa earlier this season that left the France winger with a broken leg. Thanks Michael Gilmore for putting him forward.

Filling in on the left is Standard Liege youngster Axel Witsel, who sparked controversy when he broke Marcin Wasilewski's leg by stamping on the Anderlecht player's ankle, prompting death threats from angry fans. Cheers Sami Mazhar for that one.

Finishing off our midfield is former Feyenoord man Paul Bosvelt, whose sickening and apparently premeditated challenge on Manchester United full-back Denis Irwin in Europe a few years back went unpunished by the referee. Thanks for the suggestion David Wright.

Peter Crouch takes a spot up front thanks to Cadel Shallis' nomination. The lanky hitman unleashed a two-footed lunge on Chelsea's John Obi Mikel while playing for Liverpool in 2007 and was promptly handed his marching orders.

Completing our team this week is Eric Cantona, whose horror tackle was unleashed on a fan rather than a fellow player when he infamously directed a kung-fu kick at a Crystal Palace supporter who was taunting him. Thanks Andrew Wyatt for suggesting the Frenchman.
