Skysports.com understands Bristol Rovers are lining up a move for former Norwich midfielder Matt Gill. Gill is looking for a new club after being released by the Canaries earlier this week. The 30-year-old made just four substitute appearances in the Championship last season and spent time on loan at Peterborough United and Walsall. Walsall and Exeter are both thought to have expressed an interest, but new Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle is keen to bring Gill to the Memorial Stadium.
