Aguero - Just the beginning

City forward felt luck did not favour Mancini's men against Napoli

Sergio Aguero has promised that there is more to come from Manchester City in their UEFA Champions League adventure. City's first outing in Europe's Premier club competition since the 1968/69 season fell a little flat as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Napoli in their Group A opener. The Serie A side took the lead through Edinson Cavani in the 69th minute after Roberto Mancini's men gave the ball away cheaply in midfield and were punished with a swift counter-attack. But the Etihad Stadium was on its feet soon after when Aleksandar Kolarov curled home an excellent free-kick from the edge of the box to bring his side back on terms.

Bayern test

City have been handed arguably the toughest of all the Champions League groups with Bayern Munich and Villarreal their other opponents, with a trip to Germany next on the agenda on 27th September. And forward Aguero, who was the latest star name to make a big-money move to the North West club in the summer, felt that with a little more good fortune City could have opened their campaign with victory. The Argentina international wrote on Twitter: "We'd have preferred to start winning, but we had no luck!! "This is just the beginning."
