Argentine told he remains a key part of manager's plans
Roberto Mancini insists Carlos Tevez remains part of his plans at Manchester City despite the Argentine not being a regular in the starting XI so far this season.
Tevez found himself on the bench for the midweek Champions League draw with Napoli, with Mancini preferring Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero in attack.
Mancini admits Tevez will get chances to start more games in the future, but he feels Dzeko and Aguero are in better form at the minute than the former City captain.
"In this moment there are players that are playing better than him and Carlos is here training. When Carlos is good, probably he'll have a chance to play," said Mancini.
Deserve
"I don't know if he's happy but every player when they can't play is not happy. It's normal. But we have other players that deserve a position."
Mancini is happy with the striking options available to him knowing Tevez is able to step in when called upon.
"For me it's good because we know that Carlos can score 20 goals in one season and if we score a lot of goals with all our strikers it will be good," added Mancini.
