Wolves keeper was jeered by Swansea supporters

Wolves keeper Dorus de Vries admits he does not blame the Swansea fans for jeering him at the weekend. De Vries, currently number two at Molineux to Wayne Hennessey, opted to leave Swansea for Wolves in the summer. And the Swansea fans did not forget the Dutchman and jeered him during the 2-2 draw between the teams on Saturday. "The reaction was normal and I would have expected a bit more if anything because I know how it's been for other players that have left the club, like Jason Scotland," De Vries admitted to the Express and Star. "What was really good to see was that there were loads of Swansea supporters here. "And something that was very dear to me was that familiar faces among the Swansea fans were asking about me. "They wanted to see me so I went outside to give them autographs which brought back great memories. "That's something I really enjoyed because I had a great relationship with the supporters. "Some maybe don't understand my choice, but sometimes that happens and Swansea have given me some great memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life."
