Balotelli insists he is really happy at Man City
Mario Balotelli has described his relationship with manager Roberto Mancini as 'perfect' and insisted he is now really happy at Manchester City after again been linked with a move away from the club.
Speculation over Balotelli's future has been rife almost since the day he arrived at the Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2010, and he admits it was tough at the start to adjust to his new surroundings.
But the Italian insists he is beginning to enjoy life in England this season, having been far more successful on the pitch.
Mancini has never hidden his admiration for Balotelli as a player but has repeatedly expressed frustration over his mentality, and reports suggest they still rarely see eye to eye.
However, the 21-year-old maintains that he has no problem with Mancini as he focuses solely on trying to help the club win the Premier League title for the first time.
Under contract
Balotelli told
Radio Radio: "The newspapers write that I want to leave Manchester, but I've never talked with them.
"I am in Manchester and I'm under contract with City.
"This is a new experience for me and, although at first it was difficult, I have to tell the truth now that I am really happy here.
"We must stay focused on the Premier League and try to stay ahead and drop as few points as possible, then at the end of the season we will see if we are first or second.
"My relationship with Mancini? It's perfect."
