Wales skipper out of Wednesday's match
Aaron Ramsey has been ruled out of Wednesday's Gary Speed Memorial Match against Costa Rica due to injury.
The Wales skipper has been struggling to shake off an ankle injury he picked up in Arsenal's FA Cup defeat against Sunderland.
But despite not being able to play for his country in what will be an emotional farewell to their former manager, the 21-year-old midfielder will be in the stands at the Cardiff City Stadium to pay his respects and cheer on his country.
"Wales captain, Aaron Ramsey, will miss the match with Costa Rica," an FAW statement read. "Aaron was injured in the match with Sunderland and will not be available for the Gary Speed Memorial International.
"He will however, be present at the match, to pay his respects to the former Wales manager on Wednesday evening."
Also likely to miss out is goalkeeper Boaz Myhill, who has an Achilles injury and that means Aberdeen's Jason Brown has been called up as cover.
