Jol confirms Costa Rica winger has suffered a broken foot
Fulham manager Martin Jol has confirmed that Bryan Ruiz will miss the rest of the season after suffering a broken foot.
Ruiz picked up the injury during last Saturday's 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers and was forced out of the game at the Reebok Stadium in the second half.
He missed Monday night's 1-1 home draw with Chelsea and Jol revealed after the London derby that Ruiz will play no further part this season.
Jol said: "He broke his foot so he will be out until June or July. It is a metatarsal issue."
The Costa Rica international was a big-money arrival at Craven Cottage from FC Twente last summer and took time to adapt to playing in the Premier League.
The 26-year-old has scored twice in 30 appearances in all competitions and Jol will hope the winger is ready to return to training in time for pre-season.
