    Second-half display lifts Norwich

In-form Norwich reeled off a seventh home victory with a 3-0 win against Huddersfield to keep the pressure firmly on the top two in League One. The Canaries were outplayed for long periods in the first half by an impressive Huddersfield side but hit back in style in the second half with Wes Hoolahan and Chris Martin scoring their 12th and 14th goals of the season respectively and defender Gary Doherty also getting in on the act. Huddersfield had started the game in impressive fashion and almost went ahead after 11 minutes when Jordan Rhodes' glancing header was kept out by the legs of goalkeeper Fraser Forster. But Norwich opened the scoring after 57 minutes when the Terriers carelessly lost possession just inside their own half and Hoolahan ran through virtually unchallenged before firing home into the bottom corner. City doubled their advantage after 74 minutes when Peter Clarke failed to intercept a Hoolahan pass, allowing Martin a full run on goal which he took full advantage of to fire home. Doherty provided the icing on the cake five minutes later with his fourth goal in two games, hammering home from around 10 yards out after the visitors had failed to deal with a loose ball in their area.
