Lightning forced a dramatic ten-minute stoppage in the second half as Norwich drew 1-1 with Real Zaragoza.
Manchester United defender Ritchie De Laet, on loan at the Canaries, opened the scoring after 15 minutes with a close-range header. Braulio equalised for the La Liga side moments before half-time when Norwich failed to deal with a corner and the striker rifled in to level the score. Carrow Road was plunged into darkness as two floodlights stopped working in the second half, with play delayed for ten minutes before play resumed but neither side could find a winner.
