Notts County's survival hopes suffered a major blow as MK Dons surged to 2-1 victory at Meadow Lane.

Second-half strikes from David Wheeler and Chuks Aneke consigned County to the foot of the Football League once again, as Ben Barclay netted a late consolation.

Dons took advantage of Bury's slip-up at Newport to return to third, bouncing back from successive losses.
