Oldham will check on Jose Baxter ahead of Easter Monday's League Two clash with Mansfield.
Baxter will have a hamstring problem assessed after he was forced off at half-time in Friday's goalless draw at Cheltenham. Mohamad Sylla impressed boss Pete Wild after replacing Baxter and could be in line for a first start since February.
Chris O'Grady is pushing for a return to the starting XI after Wild said he was dropped to the bench for tactical reasons against Cheltenham.
Mansfield manager David Flitcroft will check on Ben Turner (calf) and Otis Khan (hip). The duo missed Friday's clash with Morecambe but could both be available as the Stags continue their pursuit of promotion.
Friday's 4-0 victory kept Mansfield in the automatic promotion spots with three games left to play and Flitcroft is unlikely to make too many changes to his side. Striker Tyler Walker was withdrawn late on against Morecambe but Flitcroft said it was because he "didn't want to take any chances" with his top goalscorer.
Opta stats
Oldham will be hosting Mansfield in a fourth tier encounter for the first time since October 1962, when the Latics ran out 3-2 winners.
Mansfield have won one of the last 11 meetings with Oldham in all competitions (D4 L6), and have not beaten the Latics in the league since April 1978.
Oldham have lost one of their last nine home games in League Two (W4 D4).
Having stayed unbeaten in their first 12 away league games this season (W4 D8), Mansfield have lost four of their subsequent nine on the road (W2 D3).
Mansfield striker Tyler Walker (nine goals) has scored at least three times as many away league goals as any other player for the Stags this season.
Prutton's prediction
Mansfield can tighten their grip on second with a win in this game at Boundary Park, but don't write off the Latics; there are still eight teams in with a chance of taking that final play-off spot in League Two. This will be a tight one.
David Prutton predicts: 0-1 (13/2 with Sky Bet)
