Highlights of Wimbledon's 2-1 win over Plymouth in the Sky Bet League 2 fixture.

AFC Wimbledon substitute Adebayo Akinfenwa looped home an 88th-minute winner as Neal Ardley's play-off hopefuls won 2-1 at promotion-chasing Plymouth.

Lyle Taylor's first-half opener was cancelled out by Graham Carey but Akinfenwa had the final say.

Wimbledon took the lead with a lightning 30th-minute break after four consecutive Plymouth corners - from the fourth, swung in by Jake Jervis from the left, Wimbledon midfielder Jake Reeves sped the length of the field.

Centre-forward Tom Elliott spun away to the right and in the space that opened up Reeves threaded a pass to Taylor, who side-footed home past Luke McCormick.

Argyle's best first-half opportunity had come in the first attack with target man Jamille Matt teeing up Carey, whose rising, controlled side-foot shot came back off the underside of the bar.

In the first minute of the second half Dutch keeper Kelle Roos made a good save to deny Argyle's on-loan Crystal Palace midfielder Hiram Boateng.

Plymouth playmaker Carey smashed home a brilliant 61st-minute angled volley from left-back Gary Sawyer's pacy cross to make it 1-1.

It looked as though it would stay that way but with two minutes of the 90 remaining, Akinfenwa beat Curtis Nelson to a high ball on the edge of the box and somehow sent a header looping beyond McCormick to snatch the three points.
