Nani scored twice as Portugal thrashed Gibraltar 5-0 in their first game since winning Euro 2016.

The Valencia winger latched on to a lobbed ball from Bruno Alves to fire home the opener in the 27th minute of the friendly in Porto before heading Bernardo Silva's right-wing cross into the bottom left corner to double the advantage 10 minutes into the second period.

Fernando Santos' side, who were without captain Cristiano Ronaldo as he continues his recovery from the knee injury sustained in the Euro 2016 final against France, asserted their authority over the minnows with three goals in the final 20 minutes.
