Stevenage's winless streak stretched to seven games in Sky Bet League Two after Barnet held them to a 0-0 draw.
In a match lacking in quality and chances, Stevenage came the closest to scoring in the first half.
Aaron O'Connor took advantage of a wayward header in the Barnet defence and slipped the ball past goalkeeper Jamie Stephens, only for the ball to trickle past the far post.
An injury-plagued Barnet side were dealt two further blows, with Sam Togwell and Gavin Hoyte both being forced off inside the opening 45 minutes.
After the restart, Michael Tonge had a free header from 10 yards out, but he planted the header straight into Stephens' hands.
It took the Bees just over an hour to register their first attempt on goal. Shaun Batt teed up Chris Hackett who lashed his shot wide from a tight angle.
Tonge had another chance with a free-kick from 20 yards out on 68 minutes, but his shot flew comfortably over.
There was one last opportunity in stoppage time but Batt headed straight at Stevenage goalkeeper Chris Day.
