Grecians leave it late to grab the points
Substitutes Adam Stansfield and Richard Logan both scored in stoppage-time to hand Exeter a deserved 3-1 win over Stockport.
Stansfield drove home from 15 yards after latching on to Ryan Harley's through-ball, before Logan slotted home a third from close range.
After a foul on Stuart Fleetwood 30 yards out, Harley curled in a free-kick to put the Grecians in front after 39 minutes.
Stockport should have levelled seconds before the interval, but Peter Thompson fired straight at Andy Marriott after racing clear.
Veteran Marcus Stewart almost put Exeter two clear, before Stockport equalised with nine minutes to go.
Left-back Michael Rose curled in another free-kick from 25 yards out after Danny Pilkington had been felled, but Exeter had the final say.
