Debutant Charlie Wyke scored one and made another as AFC Wimbledon cruised to a 3-0 victory at Wycombe Wanderers.
Wyke, who only joined the Dons on loan from Middlesbrough yesterday, made an immediate impact as he looks to plug the gap left by Michael Smith after he returned to Charlton. Wycombe goalkeeper Matt Ingram was forced into a decent save when he pushed away Harry Pell's long-range strike as the first half ended goalless. AFC Wimbledon broke the deadlock after 52 minutes as Wycombe were unable to clear after Pell headed down Sammy Moore's free-kick and Wyke had the simplest of finishes. Wyke was involved in the Dons' second as he controlled Anthony Stewart's clearance before laying the ball off to Moore, who passed his shot into the net first-time. Wycombe's misery was complete when Stewart was sent off for bringing down Kevin Saint-Luce in the area, with Jack Midson beating Ingram from the spot, although the visitors were to have Jim Fenlon red-carded late on.
