    Chairboys beaten by former favourite

Scott McGleish returned to haunt his old club Wycombe as his late header earned Leyton Orient a 1-0 win at Adams Park. The 35-year-old striker rolled back the years to head the winner from substitute Adrian Patulea's cross in the 77th minute, ending Orient's run of three straight losses on the road. Wycombe had the better of a scrappy first half and Chris Zebroski's header from a difficult angle was well-saved by Orient goalkeeper Jamie Jones, while Matt Harrold and Michael Duberry were both narrowly off target with close-range headers. But Orient improved after the break and McGleish broke the deadlock in the 77th minute, after he had earlier volleyed wide from seven yards and been denied one-on-one by Scott Shearer. The veteran striker nipped in ahead of Wanderers full-back Craig Woodman to plant a well-placed header past Shearer which he could only tip into the net. Wycombe piled forward in the dying minutes but Harrold's 85th minute header was cleared off the line by Ben Chorley as their winless run stretched to seven games.
