Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between Yeovil and Newport.

Jack Compton's first-half penalty handed Yeovil a 1-0 victory over Newport at Huish Park.

Compton fired home from the spot in the 15th minute after Tahvon Campbell was felled in the box by Danny Holmes.

The win extends Glovers boss Darren Way's unbeaten run at home since replacing Paul Sturrock to 10 games and lifts them 13 points clear of the relegation zone, while Newport will feel aggrieved to leave Huish Park with nothing after looking the more threatening of the two sides throughout the game.

In perfect conditions, Newport could have put themselves in front after just two minutes when Scott Boden's low drive was saved by Artur Krysiak.

Despite making the better start, the Exiles were made to rue that missed chance when Campbell was fouled by Holmes, and Compton made no mistake, slotting the ball down the middle past Joe Day.

The game petered out after its opening burst of action as Newport, although stronger in possession, struggled to test the Glovers' defence.
