FA announce 2017-18 Women's Super League fixtures

Champions Manchester City begin their Women's Super League One title defence away at Yeovil Town on September 24 after the FA announced fixtures for the new women's campaign.

The new winter season, which runs from September until March after its switch from the traditional April to November format, sees Chelsea host Bristol City while Arsenal welcome Birmingham and Reading meet Sunderland.

Everton, who have replaced Notts County following a successful bid, start their return to WSL1 with an opening weekend fixture against Liverpool in the first women's Merseyside derby for three years.

Newly-promoted side Tottenham open their account in the Women's Super League Two with a trip to Durham, with Doncaster - who were relegated from the first division last season - meeting London Bees at The Hive Stadium.

Elsewhere, Millwall start their campaign with a London derby at home to Watford, whereas Aston Villa face Brighton and Oxford United tackle Sheffield FC.
