Jeff Stelling described Kevin Friend's decision to send off Andrew Surman as an 'abomination'

Jeff Stelling's reaction was priceless as he watched the red card drama unfold in the match between Manchester United and Bournemouth.

The Soccer Saturday host saw one of the most dramatic incidents of the Premier League this season at Old Trafford and tried to explain it to viewers with the help of Alan McInally.

Towards the end of the half, Tyrone Mings stamped on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's head and the Manchester United striker then elbowed the Bournemouth man in the head from the following corner.

Referee Kevin Friend seemingly missed both incidents and Andrew Surman, who had been booked earlier, was sent off for pushing Ibrahimovic.

"Goodness me, it's a disgrace," said Stelling as he watched it all unfold. "Why is nobody telling [the referee] and stop him looking a complete fool?"
