Full-back McCrory smashed home a 15-yard shot from Mark Duffy's clever free-kick in the 39th minute before a stunning counter-attack was finished off in style by El Khayati from the edge of the area.
It could have been worse for the visitors before the break but keeper Jordan Archer brilliantly denied Tom Naylor and John Mousinho with a double save.
