Gabriele Angella's 91st-minute strike earned a point for Udinese from a dramatic 2-2 draw against Udinese.

Gabriele Angella's 91st-minute strike earned a point for Udinese from a 2-2 draw two minutes after Alberto Paloschi's spot-kick looked to have won this Serie A clash for their hosts Chievo. Udinese's equaliser came when they only had 10 men after Danilo was sent off, having receiving a second yellow for the foul on Cyril Thereau which led to the penalty being awarded. Marco Andreolli had put the hosts in front after 38 minutes, although Angella was on hand to equalise four minutes later. The draw means Chievo are two points above the drop zone, while Udinese sit comfortably in mid-table. Luciano missed a penalty midway through the second period, before the late drama unfolded. Thereau missed a golden early chance to take the lead after three minutes when from 10 yards out, he shot over the bar. The same striker had another opportunity to put his side in front on the half-hour mark but again hammered over when well-placed. The hosts finally got on the scoresheet seven minutes before the break as Luciano's inswinging corner was kept out by Zeljko Brkic, but on the rebound fell to Andreolli who drilled high into the net. The lead did not last long as Angella headed in from close range after a great cross from Brazilian Allan. Brkic was on hand four minutes after the restart to keep out Dusan Basta from six yards before the same player shot over after 53 minutes. The home side should have re-taken the lead after 68 minutes when Danilo Languereira fouled Perparim Hetemaj inside the box but Luciano could not convert, smashing his effort onto the bar. The drama continued and Danilo brought down Thereau in the area and, after the Brazilian defender saw red, Paloschi beat Brkic, firing his effort into the bottom right-hand corner. However, 10-man Udinese were not done and Angella was again the goalscorer, firing a powerful effort into the top right-hand corner in injury time.
