Marcus Rashford has revealed the secret behind his emergence as a goalscoring talent at Manchester United.

Rashford has scored 10 goals in 23 appearances since marking his senior debut with a double against Midtjylland in last season's Europa League.

Both his goals this term have been close-range finishes, the first a last-minute winner at Hull and the second in a 3-1 defeat at Watford on Sunday.

The teenager also scored on his full England debut and scored a hat-trick last month on his first appearance for Gareth Southgate's U21 side, but his growing reputation as a poacher is at odds with his youth-team past in the No 10 role.

Sessions with United coach Colin Little expanded Rashford's repertoire, and he told club magazine Inside United: "That kind of changed my mindset towards the game.

"Usually I'd like to get the ball to my feet and show people what I could do, but now I know there are other ways to affect a game. It kind of opened my mind to the game.

"I don't regret playing in that position because it means now I can still play there if I need to - No 10, on both wings and up front as well. It means I have more in my armoury when it comes to the matches.
