Sheffield United owner Kevin McCabe is a "domineering" and "aggressive" bully, a lawyer representing a Saudi business associate has told a High Court judge.

A barrister representing Prince Abdullah Bin Mosaad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made allegations about the way Mr McCabe "treats people" during the latest stage of a trial in London.

An accountant who works with Mr McCabe denied the allegations.

He said Mr McCabe did not "suffer fools gladly" but was not a bully.

Mr McCabe, 71, and Prince Abdullah, a member of the Saudi royal family, co-own the newly promoted Premier League club and have fallen out after starting to work together six years ago.

Mr Justice Fancourt is analysing their fight for control of the club at a High Court hearing in London.

Sheffield United Ltd, a company controlled by Mr McCabe and his family, has alleged "conspiracy" and "unfairly prejudicial conduct" and wants damages.

Barrister Andreas Gledhill QC, who is leading UTB's legal team, made the allegations while questioning accountant Jeremy Tutton.

Mr Gledhill said Mr Tutton knew "perfectly well" that Mr McCabe was a "domineering bully".

He added that Mr McCabe was an "aggressive bully".

Mr Tutton denied the allegations.

"I have seen no evidence of him being a bully at all," Mr Tutton told Mr Justice Fancourt. "I don't think Kevin is a bully in any shape or form. He really is a very, very decent man."

Mr Tutton added: "I think Kevin doesn't suffer fools gladly but he's not a bully."
