Paris Saint-Germain went level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Monaco after a comprehensive 3-0 victory at Bordeaux on Friday night.
Monaco retain a game in hand, against Metz on Saturday, and a goal difference advantage of 15, but will be under pressure to maintain their fine form.
Two superb goals from Edinson Cavani either side of Angel Di Maria's cool finish secured second-placed PSG's victory at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux.
Cavani's first came in only the sixth minute when, as a headed clearance fell to his feet, he powerfully volleyed from the edge of the area and into the back of the net beyond goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso.
Di Maria's came in the 40th minute, as he raced onto a fine through-ball from Marco Veratti to go clear of Bordeaux's defence and calmly chip Carrasso.
Cavani's second, in the 47th minute, was equally impressive. On the break, Di Maria sent a left-wing cross into the penalty area, from where the striker classily volleyed back across the face of goal and inside the left post.
