Van de Pavert, Kujala and Poepon all on target
De Graafschap picked up a 3-1 victory over NAC Breda courtesy of goals from Ted van de Pavert, Jussi Kujala and Rydell Poepon.
Van De Pavert put the hosts ahead in the 29th minute before Robbert Schilder equalised for NAC.
However, they were level for just a minute, as Kujala regained the lead for De Graafschap with Poepon sealing victory in the 76th minute.
De Graafschap started well, Nenad Sreckovic curling a free-kick narrowly over.
NAC responded, Omer Bayram prompting a good save down to his right by goalkeeper Yves de Winter while Anthony Lurrling shot wide from Schilder's cross.
Both sides were showing attacking intent, Sreckovic curling in a cross with the outside of his left foot which was met by Michael de Leeuw, whose header was saved by Jelle ten Rouwelaar.
Breakthrough
Andries Ulderink's side, though, made the breakthrough when Yuri Rose passed to Van De Pavert, who slotted home from close range into the bottom left-hand corner.
Breda levelled 11 minutes into the second half when Bayram's pass found Schilder, who in turn shot low into the left-hand corner to give De Winter no chance.
However, within a minute De Graafschap regained the lead, Kujala pouncing on some poor NAC defending and smashing the ball home from virtually on the line.
Bayram had a long-range shot comfortably saved by De Winter before the hosts sealed victory with a little under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
Rose crossed from the right, with Poepon rising to head it past the keeper and into the top left-hand corner.
Soufian El Hassnoui had two shots on target for the hosts but they did not add to their score as they moved up a place in the table.
