Nicky Law's stoppage-time penalty maintained Exeter's unbeaten start to the Sky Bet League Two season in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient.
The Grecians dominated the first half and after Pierce Sweeney had struck the crossbar, he opened the scoring in the 41st minute as Exeter finally got the goal their play deserved.
Lee Martin's deep cross was knocked down by Randell Williams to Sweeney, who hammered a shot that bounced and bobbled its way past goalkeeper Dean Brill from 18 yards.
City were pegged back immediately as Dale Gorman scuffed a shot from distance that fell perfectly at the feet of Lee Angol and he took a touch before firing under Lewis Ward and into the net.
The second half started in disastrous fashion for the Grecians, though.
Louis Dennis was allowed far too much room and ran towards goal before trying his luck from 25 yards and his shot took a huge deflection before nestling in the net.
But Law rescued a point for Exeter when he converted a penalty in time added on after substitute Ben Seymour had been fouled by Josh Coulson.
